OOTD #5

Hey Guys!

And welcome to my fifth Outfit of the Day!  I hope you are all having a great weekend, I know I am!  I was required to visit an art museum for my online class; so today me, my dad, and my good friend Allie headed out to the city.  I had never been to an art museum before, and I was super impressed by everything I saw!  The museum was huge, and everything looked so different compared to the textbook photographs I was used to.  It took us almost the whole day to get through all of the exhibits… the rooms just kept coming and coming!

Unfortunately, my feet felt like they were going to fall off by the time we were finished, mainly due to my decision to wear a pair of wedges… I know smart idea on my end.  The thing is, they were the only shoes that would go with my skirt.  Since I am on the shorter side, I need some extra height when I wear maxi-skirts… otherwise I trip on my skirt all day.  However, even with the wedges I still found myself stepping on my skirt throughout the day…  Ahh, short girl problems…

It actually ended up being a great day to go to a museum considering it was raining the entire day… However, that also made it less than ideal for taking pictures… forcing me to take them inside.  The skirt is definitely my favorite part of this outfit, and I recently purchased it from Francesca’s.  When I saw it in stores I completely fell in love with it, and knew I had to have it.  I ended up pairing the skirt with a white crop top I purchased from the Nordstrom Rack about a year ago.  I always get so excited the first few times I wear a new clothing item… it just puts me in a good mood for some reason!

And that’s it!

Let me know in the comments:

Have you purchased anything exciting lately?

Have you ever been to an art museum?

xoxo,

Angela
