I cannot believe that it is already July… time goes by soo fast! As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that time seems to come and go in an instant… the days (any years) seriously whip by! When I was younger, I remember a day felt like a year… now a year feels like a day! Anyways, on to the purpose of this post! Now that the Fourth of July is just around the corner, I decided it would be the perfect time to create a post focused on Fourth of July outfits. Currently, the stores are packed with red, white and blue clothing, shoes, and accessories…
However, I’m not a huge fan of buying something I will only wear once, and I know that an American Flag Kimono would only see the light of day one time a year. However, I still want to look cute and festive for the Fourth of July… I would just rather use items I already own. So this week I went through my wardrobe… and my sister’s wardrobe;), and picked out a few different outfits I may wear on the Fourth of July. Since everyone has a different wardrobe, you may be unable to recreate these outfits without going out and buying something; however, I hope I inspired you enough to go through your own wardrobe, and see what you can put together. Also, feel free to email me with your own Fourth of July outfits, or let me know what you plan to wear in the comments!
I tried to use a variety of outfits for this post. Some of the outfits are more casual than others, just as some outfits are more festive than others. What you choose to wear really comes down to personal preference. Lets get started!
Outfit #1- Striped top and high-waisted shorts
Outfit #2- Polka Dot Skirt
Outfit #3- Red/White/Blue Color Blocked Outfit
Outfit #4- Festive Blazer and White Pants
For this post I didn’t include the stores I got my clothing items from… mainly because many of these pieces are pretty old, and I am unsure where I got them. Suprizingly, my favorite outfit is the first one, and the crop top I used is actually a hand-me-down… a really old hand-me down at that. I guess that just goes to show you that you don’t need to spend a ton of money to look cute!
And that’t it! I hope you all have a fantastic Fourth of July!
