How did the long weekend treat you? Did you guys do anything fun? Let me know in the comments!
After a draining week of school and work, I was glad to relax at a family barbecue on Monday. My cousin and her husband recently bought a new house (within the past year or so), and they invited my mom’s side of the family over for a picnic. In case you were wondering, I have a pretty large extended family… my mom is one of eight, and my dad is one of ten. With that said, you can imagine that our family get-togethers can become pretty crazy. However, this party was even more exciting because I got to see some family from out of state, which doesn’t happen very often.
Moving on to today’s outfit, this post is going to be a little bit different. Not only am I sharing my outfit, but I am also sharing my sister’s outfit. My sister, Julie, has been asking to be in a post for quite some time, so today I decided to share her outfit as well… and let me tell you, taking pictures with her was quite interesting… Lets get into it!
So for my sister’s outfit she went with a short floral skirt from Forever 21, and a white cropped tee. She kept the accessories simple with hoop earrings, and stacked bangles. Honestly, taking pictures with her took for-ever. She couldn’t seem to stay serious, and felt awkward posing which resulted in an hour long photo shoot, and the second image below… which pretty-much tops any picture of me on this blog ;).
Sooo, just saying I look super pale in these photos… Like super, super pale… I tried to add some color with a photo editor, but that just ended up making the lighting look really off. You also couldn’t see any of the detailing in the dress, so I stuck with the vampire look. I promise, I’m not this pale in real life… at least I don’t think I am. Anyways, the dress I am wearing is from Francesca’s, the necklace is from Target, and the shoes are from Bon-Ton. I love this dress because it is super comfortable, and easy to wear. I have really been loving a more relaxed style lately, and when I saw this in Francesca’s, it was too cute to not buy… at least that was my logic.
And that’s it for this post, I tried to keep it short and sweet for you guys! Again, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and be sure to…
