OOTD # 8

Hey guys!

How are we all doing today?  Sorry for disappearing from this blog for so long!  I feel like it has been forever since I last talked to you guys… but then again, I also feel like I say that every time I post something- I guess that’s what happens when you are juggling school, work, and a blog…  I am constantly starting posts, but never finishing any of them!  Ahh, the struggle is real…

Moving on, today I want to share another outfit of the day with you all!  I recently purchased a beanie from Francesca’s that has the words  “Bad Hair Day” embroidered on the top, and I am absolutely in love with it!  It’s strange  because I usually don’t wear hats- however, this beanie caught my eye, and I just couldn’t help myself!  Although the beanie actually is very good quality, the saying itself is what made me really want to purchase it… I just feel like the quote is so cute and relateable!  Needless to say, I basically centered my whole outfit around this beanie, and I am quite pleased with the outcome!  Again, this is a slightly different look for me, as I usually don’t dress quite as hipster- however, I really enjoyed changing up my look a bit!

As for the rest of my outfit, I decided to wear a black high-low tee shirt from Delias (the same one I wore in this post), a pair of high-waisted jeans also from Delias, and a long cardigan from Francesca’s.  I couldn’t tell you where my necklace is from because I have had if for what seems like forever- however, I’m pretty sure the shoes were purchased at Forever 21 about a year or two ago.

Also, I am aware that it doesn’t look like I am having a bad hair day in this photograph; however, you have to remember that this picture was taken first thing in the morning, and the hat is covering my unstraightened roots.  Since I have naturally wavy/curly hair, it tends to puff up throughout the day, so wearing a hat was the perfect solution for me!  Also, does anyone else pick the worst days to actually do their hair?  I feel like every time I straighten/curl mine it ends up raining or being extremely windy or humid outside- and we all know what bad weather does to your hair…  Oh well- sometimes throwing on a hat is all you need to do in order to turn a bad hair day into a good one!

Also, just as a side-note, I did recently dye my hair, and was planning on doing a post on it; however, the color didn’t turn out as vibrant as I had hoped, and it already started fading once I got around to creating a post about it…  Believe in or not, but I was actually going for a rose gold to blonde ombre; however, it ended up being more bronze than anything else… I think that next time I will save money and attempt to do it myself!

Until next time!

Let me know is the comments:

Did you make any exciting purchases lately?

Does your hair stay straight/curly when you heat style it?

xoxo,

Angela
