Hey everyone! How are you all doing today? I cannot tell you how excited I am to be getting back to a regular posting schedule… Now that school is more or less over for me, I’ve been feeling super motivated to hop on the blog more often. However, I feel like I am also the type of person who can get overwhelmed and distracted easily, so lets hope I can find a manageable posting schedule and stick to it…
Anyways, for today’s post, I wanted to share my outfit from Sunday since:
1- I haven’t posted an OOTD in a while
2- I’m basically obsessed with this dress
I actually ordered this dress from Shein(side); and for those of you who don’t know, Shein(side) is an online store which retails a bunch of high end clothing items for really low prices. However, if you know me personally, you would know that I tend to avoid online shopping whenever possible. Why you ask? Well, I’m the type of person who likes to see and feel the item I am purchasing before I buy it, and with online shopping, you never really know what you are going to get. Also, I don’t like having to pay for shipping and handling- not to mention returning online purchases is often a huge hassle.
However, since I purchased this dress during a Black Friday sale, I figured why not? I will say that the shipping took quite a while; however the pieces I ordered were still very good quality and true to size- so I feel like that made up for the shipping time.
When putting this look together, I felt like the dress already made a big enough statement on it’s own- so I decided to keep the accessories simple with a chunky statement necklace I purchased from a craft fair, and strappy sandles from Bon-ton– no surprise there.
Honestly, if I could- I would hands-down wear maxi dresses or maxi skirts every day. They are just so easy to throw on, and take minimal effort yet still look super put together. You also don’t have to think about creating a whole outfit- so if you’re lazy or short on time (like me), dresses of any type are always a great option. Now I want to hear from you guys…
Let me know in the comments:
What is your go-to outfit for lazy days?
Do you wear a lot of maxi-dresses/maxi-skirts?
